General
Yes. The platform is built with law enforcement data in mind. All data is stored in a PostgreSQL database with encrypted connections. Access is controlled by role-based permissions, so only authorized users see what they need. Every change is recorded in an audit log for accountability and compliance. In production, we use environment-based configuration (separate secrets, CORS, and database credentials) and do not rely on development defaults. We recommend deploying over HTTPS and using your agency’s existing security practices.
Officers log in and submit their daily activity through a simple tabbed form. The form is organized into three sections: Patrol Stats (arrests, traffic stops, citations, warrants served, calls for service, etc.), K9 Operations (available only to designated K9 handlers), and Seizures (currency and drug seizures with type and weight). Officers use increment/decrement buttons or type values directly, then review a summary before submitting. Officers, supervisors, and administrators can also submit incident reports for use-of-force events, vehicle pursuits, citizen complaints, and commendations, which route through a supervisor review workflow. On the admin side, supervisors and command staff have additional tools. They can search and pull stats across all officers with filters for date range, shift, and stat category. Admins can configure which stat categories are tracked, rename them, reorder them, or create custom categories to match their agency's needs. The entire system is highly configurable to meet your agency's specific needs.
The system includes dedicated analytics dashboards, each with date range filtering:
• Patrol Analytics -- Department-wide overview, officer rankings by any stat category (arrests, traffic stops, citations, etc.), officer-to-officer comparisons, and trend analysis over time with charts.
• Shift Analytics -- Side-by-side comparisons of Day vs. Night shifts and A-Side vs. B-Side, shift rankings, trend tracking over time, and forecasting with anomaly detection to flag unusual activity patterns.
• K9 Analytics -- Handler performance summaries, rankings across K9-specific stats (narcotic sniffs, apprehensions, building searches, training hours, etc.), day-vs-night and A-vs-B shift comparisons, and K9-specific forecasting.
• Seizure Analytics -- Currency and drug seizure totals, drug-type breakdowns with pie charts, top-performing officers by seizures, trend lines over time, and a full searchable record table.
Beyond dashboards, the system includes an Incident Analytics Portal covering use-of-force events, vehicle pursuits, and citizen complaints with category summaries, shift comparisons, officer rankings, and trend charts. The Admin Search tool lets command staff pull stats for any combination of officers, date ranges, shifts, and stat categories, with results displayed across summary, detail, analysis, comparison, chart, and forecast tabs.Every analytics dashboard includes a Report Generation feature that can produce AI-generated reports in multiple formats -- dataset summaries, press releases, shift analyses, and officer analyses -- with options for internal or public audience and adjustable detail level. There is also a built-in AI chat assistant that lets command staff ask plain-language questions about their data, including shift comparisons, K9 performance, seizure totals, predictive forecasts, and anomaly detection.
StatTracker LE gives command staff the visibility they need to make informed decisions and drive results. On the accountability side, the Missing Stats Dashboard lets administrators identify officers who haven't submitted their daily stats and send them a formal request to complete them. Every submission, resubmission, and administrative action is recorded in a full Audit Log with search, filtering, and export -- so you always know who is doing what and when. On the performance side, the analytics dashboards show you exactly where your department's activity is trending. Patrol Analytics ranks officers by any stat category so you can identify top performers and recognize them, or spot officers who may need coaching. Shift Analytics with Day vs. Night and A-Side vs. B-Side comparisons help you allocate resources where they're needed most. The built-in forecasting and anomaly detection flags unusual spikes or drops in activity before they become problems. The Incident Tracking system with its Early Warning feature automatically flags officers with three or more use-of-force incidents or complaints, giving you a proactive tool for intervention rather than waiting for a pattern to escalate. On the positive side, the Commendations Portal ensures good work is documented and recognized. ombined with AI-generated reports that can be tailored for internal briefings or public press releases, StatTracker LE turns raw daily numbers into actionable intelligence that helps your department perform better, deploy smarter, and stay transparent.
